Job summary

CareGivers America is hiring compassionate caregivers to support children in their homes, with paid training and certification. No prior experience required — we’ll train you to become a certified Home Health Aide (HHA).

This meaningful, one-on-one role provides daily in-home support, skill development activities, and a chance to make a real difference in a child’s life in Montgomery area.

Qualifications

• HHA or CNA certificate preferred.
• Willingness to travel to Montgomery area.
• Reliable transportation to clients' locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 supervision and support to children in a safe, in-home setting.
• Assist with daily living skills, including hygiene, meals, and routine care as needed.
• Implement and support IEPs and behavior plans.
• Facilitate structured, age-appropriate activities to promote development.
• Maintain a safe environment and support positive behavior strategies.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide 1:1 supervision and support to children in a safe, in-home setting
• Assist with daily living skills, including hygiene, meals, and routine care as needed
• Implement and support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior support plans (BIPs)
• Facilitate structured, age-appropriate activities that promote skill development
• Support positive behavior strategies and maintain a consistent, safe environment
• Frequent standing and walking, assisting members with daily activities, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and occasional lifting or supporting individuals
