Job summary

PACS is seeking a Staff Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat residents, document services, and collaborate with physicians and families. The role includes training facility staff and ensuring high-quality care within established policies and procedures.

The SLP will develop personalized treatment plans, supervise trainees, and participate in interdisciplinary teams to optimize resident outcomes. Ongoing documentation and compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or higher.
• Master's degree preferred; state licensure required.
• Proficient with Net Health and Point Click Care.
• Ability to read and follow technical policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans to improve function.
• Supervise CFY or student clinicians as assigned.
• Communicate progress with physicians, staff, families, and residents.
