Job summary

Circle of Life Home Care Anishinaabe is seeking a CFSS Support Worker to join our Bemidji team. The role is part-time with the potential for full-time hours and involves providing personal care and daily living support to clients in their homes.

You will perform ADLs/IADLs, document care provided, and help with light household tasks while ensuring safety and confidentiality. A CFSS certification and HS diploma or GED are preferred qualifications.

Qualifications

• CFSS Support Worker Certification and a High School Diploma or GED are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Personal Care Services to clients in accordance with the care plan.
• Assist with ADLs, IADLs, and other health-related tasks.
• Document cares provided to client as instructed.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, companionship, errands/shopping, and transportation arrangements.
• Recognize safety hazards in client’s home environment and report concerns to supervisor.
• Provide social and emotional support.
• Maintain confidentiality and treat all individuals with respect.
• Maintain training and educational requirements.

Salary Range: $16.00 To $16.00 Hourly

Position Duties Include:

• Provide Personal Care Services to clients in accordance with the care plan.
• Provide assistance including, but not limited to, Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs), and other health related tasks.
• Document cares provided to client as instructed.
• Assist with routine household chores of light housekeeping, meal preparation, companionship, errands/shopping, and transportation arraignments.
• Recognize safety hazards in client's home environment or habits of daily living.
• Report all safety concerns to supervisor in a timely manner.
• Provide clients with social and emotional support.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and treat all individuals with respect.
• Maintain training and educational requirements.

Qualifications

CFSS Support Worker Certification, High School Diploma or GED, and industry knowledge strongly preferred.
