DISCOVERY Children’s Museum in Las Vegas seeks a strategic Chief Financial Officer to lead the Finance and Accounting Department, ensure GAAP compliance, manage risk, and oversee internal controls.

Reporting to the CEO, the CFO will guide budgeting, forecasting, audits, and financial reporting, while mentoring a finance team and collaborating with departments across the organization to advance the museum's mission and programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required or equivalent experience.
• CPA certification highly desirable.
• C-Suite level financial leadership experience preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic financial leadership to ensure sound fiscal management.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
• Coordinate annual audit process with external auditors.
• Develop and monitor internal controls to ensure compliance with laws and GAAP.
• Partner with HR on payroll and benefits programs.
