Job summary

Hillcrest Children and Family Center seeks a Chief Financial Officer to lead the agency's financial operations within a nonprofit behavioral health setting. The CFO reports to the CEO and oversees accounting, budgeting, reporting, and internal controls.

Key priorities include managing Revenue Cycle Management, Medicaid and federal reimbursements, audits, and contracts with funders and partners while safeguarding financial stability and program support.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university; CPA a plus.
• 7+ years of executive leadership experience in health care; behavioral health/non-profit preferred.
• 7+ years overseeing Revenue Cycle Management, A/R strategy, and billing compliance.
• 5+ years of Medicaid and Federal reimbursements experience.
• Strong budgeting, financial reporting and regulatory compliance skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations.
• Develop budgets for the agency and programs; prepare revisions as needed.
• Prepare, analyze, and present monthly financial reports to CEO and Board.
• Oversee contract negotiations with funding sources and vendors.
• Ensure internal controls, audits, and compliance across the agency.
