Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred but not required.
• Government/Fund Accounting experience in affordable housing is highly desirable.
• Hands-on, detail-oriented with strong financial acumen and willingness to dive into numbers.
• Collaborative leadership with ability to work across departments and guide a small accounting team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end close, year-end reporting, and government compliance.
• Lead a small accounting team (AR/AP & Financial Analyst) and provide strategic direction.
• Manage banking, fund allocation, and reconciliations to ensure financial stability.
• Deliver high-level financial insights and board-ready reports.
