The ideal candidate will have a CPA or CMA, 7+ years in accounting/financial management, and strong GAAP knowledge. This position emphasizes financial strategy, internal controls, and collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA preferred.
• 7+ years of accounting/financial management experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and audits.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support growth and profitability.
• Oversee all accounting functions including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Prepare and present accurate financial statements, reports, and analyses to management and stakeholders.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.

Position Overview:

The CFO / Accountant will play a pivotal role in managing the financialhealth of EWaste Pro Inc. This individual will oversee all financial operations, includingaccounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and financial planning. The ideal candidate will workclosely with the management team to drive strategic financial initiatives and ensure compliancewith financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth andprofitability.
• Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable,payroll, and general ledger.
• Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses to themanagement team and stakeholders.
• Manage the budgeting process, including forecasting, variance analysis, and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and reportingrequirements.
• Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures to safeguard companyassets.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions andstrategic planning.
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and capital requirements to ensure the financial stability ofthe company.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial performance and supportoperational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certificationpreferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting and financial management, preferably inthe IT or electronics recycling industry.
• Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficient in accounting software and financial management systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectivelywith the management team and other stakeholders.
