Brunswick Corporation in Fond du Lac, WI, is seeking a CFD Engineer to perform advanced simulations for marine propulsion and vessel systems. You will model fluid flow, heat transfer, and multiphase interactions using STAR-CCM+ and Ansys Fluent, collaborating with design and test teams to optimize performance and weight while meeting schedule goals.

The role emphasizes independent problem solving, documentation, and continuous improvement of analysis workflows.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of CFD experience with Siemens STAR-CCM+ or Ansys Fluent.
• Strong understanding of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer.
• Exposure to numerical methods and engineering analysis.
• Experience in Conjugate Heat Transfer (CHT), multiphase and phase-change analysis, FSI, moving/overset mesh, and SPH is preferred.

Mansioni

• Execute detailed CFD simulations using STAR-CCM+ or Ansys Fluent to model fluid behavior and heat transfer.
• Perform multiphase hydrodynamic analyses of propulsors and vessels.
• Collaborate with design and test engineers to provide design inputs and validation plans.
• Document findings, prepare reports, and present results with actionable recommendations.
