Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering; PhD preferred.
• Proven ability to set up, run, and assess CFD simulations independently.
• Background in rotorcraft operations and rotor blade modeling.

Responsibilities

• You will support and enhance ongoing fluid dynamics analysis projects in propulsion and power.
• Develop 3D flow models using in-house tools for propulsion customers.
• Work on reducing flow separation and predicting flow-induced forces on nozzles and inlets.
• Analyze heat transfer for Navy aircraft systems; review fleet failure data for rapid results.
• Prepare post-processed results and write status reports for non-experts.
• Collaborate with team and work independently with the Technical Lead.
