You will support advanced chemical kinetic modeling for large-scale simulations and work within the Aerospace and Defense Solutions Division on NASA and DoD programs.

Requirements include MS/PhD in a relevant engineering field, experience with Cantera/Chemkin, and proficiency in C++, Python, and shell.

Qualifications

• MS/PhD in Aerospace, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or similar.
• Experience simulating reacting flow with Cantera/Chemkin.
• 2+ years of experience in CFD model development or advanced numerical methods.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and ability to devise software design solutions.
• Proficiency with C++, Python, and shell; familiarity with Git.

Responsibilities

• Develop CFD models and advanced numerical methods for large-scale combustion simulations.
• Support R&D programs (NASA/DoD) with modeling and simulation results.
• Analyze and present results of reacting flows and CFD models.
