Job summary

Gentell is seeking a licensed wound and product specialist to travel across facilities in the Baltimore area, supporting wound assessments and product utilization.

You will work with long-term care facilities, ensure compliant documentation, and order products via FastCare. The role requires flexibility for travel and corporate training as needed.

Qualifications

• Active healthcare license (RN, LPN, PT, OTR-L, DPM or similar) preferred or eligible for first-year hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform wound assessments and guide treatment decisions in long-term care facilities within designated territory.

• Educate facility staff on documentation meeting federal and state requirements.
• Order wound care products through internal FastCare system for residents.
• Support facilities' wound care programs with tracking and documentation of product coverage guidelines.

We are looking for a licensed nurse, physical therapist, occupational therapist or LPN. The ideal candidate will live within the greater Baltimore area (Baltimore/Annapolis) and travel to facility locations across multiple locations including the eastern shore (Salisbury). Day travel and some overnights may be required including some early morning wound rounds based on facility schedules. Periodic (annual at minimum) corporate training may involve flight travel and hotel stays. Travel arrangements are made and paid for through our travel management system, with reimbursement of incidental expenses.

We provide full PPE for each of our employees who are conducting facility visits. We also provide tools for telehealth for those facilities that need to be serviced remotely.

Requirements

The ideal Wound and Product Specialist:

• Valid healthcare license (RN, LPN, PT, OTR-L, DPM or similar) preferred but could be certified in the first year of hire
• Must have exemplary customer service skills
• Must be business savvy, sales-minded
• Must be a self-starter and work independently
• Must be hard-working and motivated
• Must be organized and detail-oriented
• Must live in the area designated and be willing to travel on a daily basis

This role has a pay range of $95,000 to $125,000 annually based off experience.
