Gentell is seeking a Wound and Product Specialist to support long-term care facilities across a designated Atlanta area, traveling regularly to multiple cities as needed. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Working with long-term care facilities in a designated territory to assist with wound assessments and treatment decisions
  • Monitoring proper application and utilization of wound care products
  • Understanding Medicare documentation and reimbursement guidelines
  • Educating facility staff on documentation that meets federal and state requirements
  • Ordering wound care products through our internal system “FastCare” for the residents to receive their products
  • Supporting facilities wound care programs by assisting with tracking, documentation, and understanding of the wound care products coverage guidelines

We are looking for a licensed nurse, physical therapist, occupational therapist or LPN. The ideal candidate will live within the Greater Atlanta area and travel to facility locations across multiple cities. Day travel and some overnights may be required including some early morning wound rounds based on facility schedules. Periodic (annual at minimum) corporate training may involve flight travel and hotel stays. Travel arrangements are made and paid for through our travel management system, with reimbursement of incidental expenses.

We provide full PPE for each of our employees who are conducting facility visits. We also provide tools for telehealth for those facilities that need to be serviced remotely.

Requirements
The ideal Wound and Product Specialist:
