Job summary

Wells seeks a Metal Shop Certified Welder to fabricate production assemblies for precast manufacturing, following PCI standards. You will weld, cut, and assemble components using welders, saws, presses, and forklifts; read blueprints and set up fabrication jigs in a safe, productive environment.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED; welding certification is preferred, with ability to read technical documents and tape measures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; welding certification preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, steel orders, and basic technical documents; tape measure skills.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Welds, cuts, and assembles production components to PCI standards.
• Operate shop equipment: welders, saws, presses, forklifts.
• Build and set up jigs; read blueprints and production drawings.
• Transport and handle materials safely; ensure quality and safety.
