Wells Concrete is seeking a Metal Shop Certified Welder to fabricate production assemblies for precast manufacturing, ensuring PCI certification compliance. The role involves welding, cutting, and assembling components with shop equipment such as welders, saws, presses, and forklifts to support efficient, safe production.

Salary is $33.39/hour with a focus on high-quality, accurate fabrication. The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Welding certification preferred; testing/certification may be required.
• Ability to read blueprints and basic technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations that meet company and PCI certification standards.
• Operate shop equipment including welders, forklifts, shears, punches, drill presses, and band saws.
• Fabricate and assemble production components used in precast manufacturing.
• Build and set up jigs for fabrication work as needed.
• Read and interpret basic blueprints and production drawings.
• Use gas/acetylene torches for cutting and fabrication tasks.
