Job summary

Wells is seeking a Field Laborer to perform general construction tasks on a precast installation crew. You will work with wood, metal, and concrete, using hand and power tools, reporting to the Field Foreman and Field Superintendent.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, 2+ years of construction experience, OSHA 10 certification, and the ability to travel and work in varying weather conditions. Safety and reliability are highly valued.

Qualifications

  • General math skills and the ability to read tape measures and blueprints.
  • Professionalism, teamwork, and self-motivation are essential.
  • Willingness to travel and work in all weather conditions, including being away from home as needed.
  • OSHA 10 Hour certification is preferred or required.

Responsibilities

  • Follow directions from the installation crew Foreman and Field Superintendent.
  • Perform general construction labor for installing precast members.
  • Use materials and supplies efficiently.
  • Operate equipment, including concrete saws, safely and responsibly.
  • Clean and prepare footings for layout.
  • Learn grouting and welding techniques as required.
  • Manage rigging operations from crane to precast members.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.
