Qualifications

• Associates degree in Welding Technology or related technical field or two or more years of experience as a Certified Weld Inspector in a manufacturing environment.
• AWS Certified Weld Inspector (CWI) Certification.
• Knowledge of a wide variety of nondestructive and dimensional inspection methods and equipment; ASME, PED, ATEX, NEC, NACE, ANSI, and TEMA codes.
• Proficiency with common word processing, spreadsheet and database software.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, diagrams and instructions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Inspect welded equipment, parts, and assemblies from receiving to final inspection.
• Provide in-process inspection oversight of welding inspection processes.
• Perform nondestructive inspection analyses and use radiation-producing equipment.
• Coordinate audits of nondestructive evaluation processes and personnel.
• Maintain welder continuity logs and ensure ASME and DOD compliance.
• Conduct tests and inspections to evaluate quality or performance.
• Create documentation of compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
