Thrive Pet Healthcare Specialists in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a full-time Anesthesia Float Certified Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency & Specialty teams, delivering anesthesia and patient care from admission to discharge.

You'll prepare patients, administer anesthetic protocols, monitor ASA III-V cases, and collaborate with clinicians to ensure safe, compassionate care and smooth recovery for every patient.

Qualifications

• Must have active CVT/RVT/LVT certification (AZ)
• Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary technician experience
• Experience with anesthesia cases ASA III-V
• Strong anesthesia monitoring skills (BP, ECG, SpO2, etCO2)
• Excellent communication, leadership and organizational abilities

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia and patient care across Emergency & Specialty teams from admission to discharge
• Prepare patients and administer anesthetic protocols; monitor during procedures
• Support recovery and collaborate with clinicians for safe, compassionate care

Thrive Pet Healthcare Specialists is looking for a full-time Anesthesia Float Certified Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency & Specialty teams as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Scottsdale, AZ.

About You

You'll play an important role in pets’ lives by providing exceptional anesthesia and patient care across our Emergency and Specialty teams. Your life-changing work will range from preparing patients for procedures and administering anesthetic protocols to monitoring complex cases and supporting recovery, while collaborating closely with clinicians to ensure safe, compassionate care from admission through discharge.

Your Experience & Skills

• Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care)
• CVT/RVT/LVT (active and current) Required
• Superior/advanced technical skills
• Has experience (in a veterinary clinic setting) with anesthetic cases ASA III-V
• Has strong anesthesia skills (Able to obtain Blood pressure, ECG, Sp02, and ETC02 and integrate clinical signs with disease processes to assist doctors in early and appropriate intervention of patient care)
• Possesses a positive work attitude
• Self-motivated
• Excellent leadership, communication and organization skills
