Overview

Cummings Veterinary Hospital is looking for a Full-Time or Part-time Certified Veterinary Technician to join our team!

$2000 Sign on Bonus (for full-time candidates)

Location: 5111 Church Road, Easton PA 18045

Compensation: $20 - $25 based on experience with opportunities for annual bonus

Schedule: We work together to find a schedule that benefits both of us.

Hospital Hours

Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 6:00 pm

Saturday - 8:00 am - 1:00 pm

We are seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician with a passion for client communication, capable of conducting technician appointments, triaging patients, providing care to hospitalized patients, and collecting/processing lab samples.

Cummings Veterinary Hospital in Easton, PA, is a thriving AAHA-accredited practice with four doctors, offering services like soft tissue surgeries, ultrasound, laser therapy, low stress handling, and more. We are growing!

We are excited to offer Phovia Fluorescent Light Therapy, a two-step treatment using LED lamps and chromophore gel that promotes healing and cell regeneration.

Our two-story facility includes 8 spacious exam rooms, a dental suite, a comfort room for owners, and advanced treatments like Phovia Therapy.

Responsibilities

Our Veterinary Technicians are responsible for:

  • In-patient care: medications, treatments, diagnostics, monitoring, IVs, blood draws, lab tests, feeding, walking
  • Surgical prep and monitoring, equipment sterilization
  • Dental care and procedures
  • Radiology assistance
  • Lab sample collection and processing
  • Client communication and education
  • Performing technician appointments
  • Assisting with outpatient and reception duties
  • Training, inventory control, and medication dispensing
Qualifications

Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, and work in noisy environments with animals and equipment. Good hand-eye coordination and ambulatory skills are essential.
