Job Summary and Qualifications

Provides direct and indirect nursing services to the surgical patient under the supervision of the professional nurse, and performs tasks necessary to the functioning of the Surgical Services Unit according to the standards and policies of Operating Room care.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Graduate of an accredited Vocational School Graduate
• Certified Surgical Technician (CST), or Certified Operating Room Technician, or Technician in Surgery (NCCT)
• 1+ year experience in acute OR setting
