Job description

As an OB Tech, you will assist in the Labor & Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum units, performing patient care and supporting surgical procedures under supervision.

Responsibilities include:
  • Assisting with vaginal deliveries and surgical procedures such as C-sections and D&Cs.
  • Maintaining supplies and equipment.
  • Supporting Point of Care Testing and disinfection processes.
  • Performing clerical tasks, including answering phones and data entry in EPIC.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of a Surgical Tech program.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Colorado Surgical Technologist Registration (if applicable).
  • Certification from NBSTSA or NCCT.
  • Preferred: One year of patient care experience.

Physical demands include exerting up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Additional Information:

Schedule: PRN, variable shifts, with minimum availability of 5 shifts in 6 weeks and 2 holidays per year.
