Community Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for Granger Surgery Center. The role supports the surgical team in the operating room, maintaining sterile technique, preparing instruments, and assisting with patient positioning and case readiness.

The position is part-time, daytime shifts, with a focus on attendance and policy compliance. The ideal candidate holds CST and BLS certifications, with 0–2 years of OR experience.

Qualificações

• Associate degree or technical school graduate in Surgical Technology or related field.
• 0–2 years OR surgical technician experience.
• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) and BLS required.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare operating room and ensure instruments/supplies are ready.
• Maintain sterile field and aseptic technique.
• Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments during procedures.
• Inspect and sterilize instruments per policy.
• Count sponges, needles, and instruments with circulating nurse.
• Position patients and assist with draping as directed by RN.
• Maintain accurate documentation and procedure cards.
• Restock supplies and prepare rooms for next cases.
