Ascension Health is seeking a Surgical Technician at Ascension St. Vincent Orthopedic Hospital in Newburgh, IN. This full-time, day-shift role supports the Ortho Surgery team.

You will prepare the operating room, hand instruments to the surgeon during procedures, assist with patient positioning, and help maintain instrument counts. Licensure requirements include NBSTSA or NCCT certification and BLS/CPR within 30 days.

Qualifikationen

• NBSTSA or NCCT Surgical Tech credential required prior to hire date or transfer date.
• BLS Provider certification within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or transfer date. AHA or Red Cross accepted.
• Instructor specializing in Basic Life Support obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or transfer date. AHA or Red Cross accepted.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):

• One or more of the following:

• Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

• Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

• One or more of the following:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Instructor specializing in Basic Life Support obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education
