Job summary

Decypher is seeking a qualified Surgical Technician to join our operating room team on site. The role involves performing sterile techniques, preparing surgical trays, and supporting surgeons and clinical staff throughout pre- and post-operative care.

Required are a CAAHEP/ABHES accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent military training, BLS, and certification as CST/TS-C/MOS. At least one year of OR experience is expected. U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from Surgical Technology program accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES or military training in surgical techs.
• BLS certification required.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or TS-C or MOS certification must be held.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• One year of experience as a Surgical Technician or Operating Room Technician.

Responsibilities

• Perform sterile techniques and set up surgical trays.
• Assist with pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
• Prepare and drape patients for surgery; assist with dressings.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe clinical areas and ORs.
• Assist surgeon with preoperative processes and instrument handling.
