Decypher is seeking a qualified Surgical Technician to join our operating room team on site. The role involves performing sterile techniques, preparing surgical trays, and supporting surgeons and clinical staff throughout pre- and post-operative care.
Required are a CAAHEP/ABHES accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent military training, BLS, and certification as CST/TS-C/MOS. At least one year of OR experience is expected. U.S. citizenship is required.

Job Summary: The certified surgical technologist performs sterile techniques to prepare surgical trays, assist with minor procedures, and support surgeons and clinical staff throughout the pre-operative and post-operative process. This role is responsible for cleaning and preparing surgical instruments for sterilization, maintaining supply levels, assisting with patient intake and vital signs, and ensuring clinical areas and operating rooms remain clean, organized, and safe for patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
Work Environment & Schedule: Onsite, Monday to Friday, from 7:00am - 6:00pm.
Physical requirements: May require frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds of instrument trays, sterilization containers, and supply boxes. Occasional lifting up to 40-50 pounds, especially when moving large surgical instrument sets, sterilization equipment loads, or CPR carts. The job may also require pushing/pulling heavy carts, prolonged standing, bending, and repetitive hand movements while handling instruments and equipment.
