Cedar County Memorial Hospital seeks a full-time Certified Surgical Technologist for its CCMH Medical Mall Clinic. The role supports the new clinic physician and covers pre-, intra-, and post-operative duties with emphasis on sterile technique and patient safety.

Requires AAS in Surgical Technology and NBSTSA certification, plus strong organizational and communication skills. BLS CPR is required; ability to work under OR pressure is essential.

Formación

• Completion of an Associate of Applied Science degree in Surgical Technology.
• NBSTSA certification as a Surgical Technologist.
• Proven organizational skills and ability to work under OR stress.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR or CPR/AED.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with pre-operative duties and setup of sterile equipment.
• Support intraoperative procedures and pass instruments to the surgeon.
• Maintain sterile technique and perform counts of instruments, sharps, and sponges.
• Assist with patient positioning, draping, and verification during time-out.
• Prepare sterile dressings and assist with post-operative care.
