Job summary

Spring Valley Hospital, part of The Valley Health System in Las Vegas, seeks a certified Surgical Technologist to support operating room teams. Under supervision of licensed nursing staff, you will assist with patient care, procedures, and standardized clerical duties.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited surgical technologist program or eligible U.S. Public Health Service training, CST certification, and current BLS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Successful completion of an accredited surgical technologist program (or approved equivalent training).
• One year of operating room experience preferred.
• Current CST certification from NBSTA required; current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care, patient service activities, and procedures under supervision of licensed nursing staff.
• Handle clerical duties as assigned.
• Participate in age-appropriate care for patients.
