Job summary

Novant Health seeks a Surgical Technologist to assist in invasive procedures under supervision of a surgeon and a registered nurse. You will maintain sterile technique, ensure safety of the operating room environment, and help ensure equipment functions properly during complex surgeries.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and training from an accredited Surgical Technology program or military equivalent. CST/TS-C/NRCST/SA-C credentials are preferred; SC region licensing may apply.

Qualifications

• Education as specified; online Surgical Tech programs not accepted.
• Previous Surgical Technologist experience preferred.
• Surgical Tech CST/TS-C/NRCST/SA-C certification preferred; SC region license may be required.
