Job summary

SCA Health is hiring a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) in Orlando, FL. The role involves acting as a scrub person during surgeries, preparing instruments, and maintaining the sterile field to support patient care.

Ideal candidates graduate from an accredited CST program with a CST certification and at least some prior CST experience; BLS certification within 90 days is required. Compensation ranges from $23.00 to $30.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of a recognized Surgical Technologist Program.
• Prior experience as a Surgical Technologist preferred.
• Current Surgical Technologist certification preferred.
• Successful completion of BLS within 90 days or current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub person during operative and invasive procedures.
• Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport to decontamination areas.
• Assist with post-procedure cleaning and room preparation for subsequent patients.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
