Job summary

SCA Health in Florida is actively hiring a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to support operating rooms and invasive procedures. You will scrub, prepare instruments, and aid in post-procedure room cleanup, ensuring readiness for subsequent patients.

Ideal candidates have a CST credential and at least some CST experience; a high school diploma and completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program are required. BLS certification within 90 days is expected.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of a recognized Surgical Technologist program.
• Prior CST experience preferred.
• Current CST certification preferred.
• BLS certification completed within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures.
• Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport to decontamination areas.
• Assist with post procedure cleaning of the operative room and prepare it for subsequent patients.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
