Qualifications

• Must have completed a Surgical Technology program or Practical Nursing program.
• Associate degree in Surgical Technology or Applied Sciences is required.
• 0–2 years OR experience as a surgical technician is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field for procedures.
• Pass instruments and supplies to the surgeon and team.
• Maintain instrument counts with circulating nurse to ensure patient safety.
• Manage equipment readiness and infection prevention protocols.
• Restock supplies and prepare rooms between cases.
• Adhere to hospital policies and standards; maintain regular attendance.
