Responsibilities

Positions Available

• Part Time: (1) 12-hour shift per week 7P-730A; every third weekend and holiday rotation
• Part Time (2) 12-hour shifts 7A-730P; every third weekend and holiday rotation.
• Assists surgical team during operative procedures.
• Arranges and inventories sterile set-up for operations, and hands items as needed to the operative team.
• Assists in preparing and moving patients, and in cleaning the operating rooms.
• The Surgical Technician is responsible for the provision of surgical care to meet identified patient outcomes, and to achieve the goals of the facility as directed by the Registered Nurse.
• Will also assume duties on the unit to include but not limited to phlebotomy, vs, assisting with newborn care, and general patient care assistant duties.
