Job summary

St. Mark's Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT, is seeking a Surgical Technician II in the Operating Room. You will deliver patient-centered care, assist staff during operative and invasive procedures, and help prepare the OR for cases.

The team emphasizes safety, precepting newer techs, and collaborating across departments to maintain a clean, well-stocked environment. Basic Life Support certification and CST or TS-C certification are required or eligible.

Qualifications

• You will be competent in Level II procedures (spine, peripheral CV, advanced endoscopic).
• You will assist with OR prep and turnover between cases following policy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care as you assist staff during operative procedures.
• Prepare the operating room for procedures and act as a preceptor for other techs as needed.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and Central Processing to clean ORs and equipment.
• Support patient and staff safety by following universal precautions and PPE use.
