Job summary

The Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) is seeking a Certified Surgical Tech II to join the operating room team. Under general supervision, you will prepare sterile supplies and equipment for surgeries and perform room duties related to direct patient care.

You will demonstrate advanced CST skills, support nurses and providers, and may assist with vaginal deliveries and other duties as assigned. A minimum one year CST experience and current certification are required; BLS certification

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Graduation from an accredited school of surgical technology or surgical technology military program is required.
• At least one year of work experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile supplies and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Assist with room duties involved with direct patient care in the OR.
• Support with instrument flow, supply restocking, and front desk engagement as needed.
