Job summary

Northwest Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist to assist the surgeon during procedures in the Main OR and related surgical suites in a busy hospital setting. The role works under RN supervision and contributes to patient care when not actively assisting during operations.

Required are 1–3 years of experience and a High School/GED; an Associate’s degree is preferred. Certification within 12 months and CST/BLS are required to ensure safe, high‑quality care for our patients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of experience in a surgical setting.
• Certification exams to be completed within 12 months; active CST preferred.
• Certified Surgical Technologist and Basic Life Support required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to the surgeon during surgical interventions under RN supervision.
• When not assisting, participate in patient care under the direction of the Surgical Assistant Coordinator or RN.
