Job summary

SCA Health in Bloomfield, CT is actively seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to support operative and invasive procedures. You will function as a scrub person, prepare instruments, and assist with post-procedure cleanup in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Requirements include high school diploma, completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program, and BLS certification within 90 days. Prior CST experience is preferred. Competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
• Previous CST experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification or within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures.
• Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport them to decontamination areas.
• Assist with post-procedure cleaning of the room and prepare for subsequent patients.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
