Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program is required.
• Prior CST experience is preferred.
• Current CST certification is preferred.
• BLS certification or completion within 90 days of employment is required or current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures.
• Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport them to decontamination areas.
• Assist with post-procedure cleaning and room turnover between patients.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
