Job summary

Vance Thompson Vision is seeking a Certified Surgical Technician to join our team at the Omaha Surgery Center. This role supports nurses and physicians to deliver the highest standard of patient care, participates in maintaining OR readiness, and adheres to federal, state, and accreditation standards.

Certifications are preferred or obtainable within 6 months of hire. We value a collaborative, flexible team player who is committed to ongoing learning and delivering an excellent patient

Qualifications

• Completed an approved school of Surgical Technology.
• Certification preferred, or commitment to obtain certification within 6 months of hire.
• Previous experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses and physicians in delivering high standard patient care.
• Acquire and maintain current knowledge in surgical technologist practice.
• Aid in organization and daily function of the operating room in accordance with standards and center policies.
• Prepare equipment and aid the surgeon during treatment and examination of patients.
