Job summary

Vance Thompson Vision in Omaha is seeking a Certified Surgical Technician to join our team, supporting nurses and physicians to deliver the highest standard of patient care.

You will acquire and maintain current knowledge in surgical technology, prepare equipment, and assist the surgeon during treatment and examination of patients in accordance with standards and center policies. Certification preferred, or plan to obtain within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Completed an approved school of Surgical Technology.
• Certification preferred, or commitment to obtain certification within 6 months of hire.
• Previous experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses and physicians in delivering the highest standard of patient care.
• Prepare equipment and aid the surgeon during treatment and examination of patients.
• Acquire and maintain current knowledge in surgical technologist practice.
• Ensure organization and daily function of the operating room in accordance with standards and center policies.
