Job summary

The Valley Health System (VHS), with six hospitals in Las Vegas and Southern Nevada, is seeking a Surgical Technologist to assist operating surgeons with instrumentation during surgical interventions. This role supports a busy hospital environment, including a maternity department and NICU, and requires CST certification and BLS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Successful completion of an accredited surgical technologist program or equivalent training.
• Current CST certification from NBSTSA or equivalent as per regulatory requirements.
• Current BLS Certification.
• AORT participation encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assist operating surgeons with instrumentation during surgical procedures.
• Perform technical responsibilities related to surgical interventions under supervision.
• Ensure readiness of sterile supplies and equipment for procedures.
