Job summary

Surgery Partners Brand in Pennsylvania seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a multi-specialty ambulatory surgical center. You will scrub in for ophthalmology, ENT, pain management, ortho and retina cases, and support room turnover with the OR team.

The role requires CST certification (or as allowed by state), BLS, and 1–2 years of OR experience preferred; training is available. Scheduling is 1–3 days per week, Monday–Friday day shifts, with varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
• CST certification or grandfathering per state regulations.
• BLS certification required; 0–2 years acceptable with training provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain equipment and instrumentation for procedures.
• Set up sterile field with instruments, drapes, and solutions.
• Follow regulations and prep patient skin and body pre-procedure.
• Perform safety checks on equipment and supplies before start.
• Assemble sterile and non-sterile equipment and ensure functionality.
• Assist with prep for patient procedure and transport to the room.
• Position patient and drape according to procedure.
• Pass instruments to surgeons, assist with retracting and suturing.
• Participate in counts of sponges, needles, and instruments.
• Prepare specimens and assist with disposition; apply dressings.
• Assist with patient transfer post-procedure; restock room.
• Pull supplies for upcoming procedures; manage instrument inventory.
• Assist with sterilization, high-level disinfection, and quality testing.
