Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs surgical hand scrub and assists surgeon during cases.
• Maintains sterile asepsis and follows infection control policies.
• Assists in decontamination, sterilization of instruments and equipment.
• Ensures adequate supplies are available to complete anticipated caseloads.
• Transports patients, supplies and specimens as directed.
• Participates in hospital-wide quality improvement activities.
