Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent as required by facility practice and state rules.
• Surgical Tech Certification current at time of employment.
• Evidence of BCLS certification at employment start.

Responsibilities

• Assist with direct patient care and observation in the OR under RN supervision.
• Scrub and assist the surgeon at the operative field and with turnover between cases.
• Record pertinent clinical data in the medical record and support clinical decision making.
