Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System in Olathe, KS is seeking a PRN Certified Surgical Scrub Tech to assist the surgical team in operative cases. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain asepsis, positioning, prepping and draping, needle/instrument counts, specimen care and dressing application.
• Prepare instruments and supplies for sterilization; decontaminate instruments and assist in OR prep.
• Provide instrumentation to the surgeon as needed.
• Provide psychological and physical comfort to the patient and report changes to RN/Charge Nurse.
• Adhere to department standards and perform duties as assigned.
