Job summary

Kansas City Urology Center, part of the HCA Healthcare family, is hiring a Patient Care Technician to support ambulatory surgery services. You will transport patients, assist with OR turnover, and help maintain clean, ready rooms and supplies.

Qualifications

• One year patient care assistance in a nursing or environmental services environment.
• Valid BCLS Certification upon employment (online certification not acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the transfer, positioning and transport of your patients.
• Assist in overturning your operating rooms between cases.
• Perform terminal cleaning of your surgical area.
• Maintain sufficient supply levels, cleanliness and orderliness of all your equipment and supplies.
• Answer phones.
• Assist with computer data entry.
