Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a Surgical Technologist to function as a scrub person in the operating rooms and assist under RN supervision. You will prepare cases with proper instrumentation, maintain sterile fields, and support efficient case turnover.

Qualifications

• Certification in surgical technology required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; formal surgical technology program completion.
• New graduate or experienced surgical technologist considered.

Responsibilities

• Functions as scrub person in the Operating Rooms and assists with case setup and instrument counts.
• Maintains and monitors sterile field integrity and assists with equipment and infection control.
• Expedites case turnover and reports supplies used for proper charging; adheres to overtime and on-call requirements.
• Performs general room cleanup and supports daily department operations.
