Job summary

Vanderbilt Health seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist/OR Scrub Tech to provide efficient patient care in the operating room under the supervision of the circulating nurse. You will demonstrate sterile technique, knowledge of anatomy, and instruments, while maintaining the sterile field and assisting OR staff.

The role requires CST certification and relevant OR experience, with a Fri-Sun shift schedule, and includes a $20,000 sign-on bonus and relocation bonus up to $10,000 for qualified

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist qualifications and NBSTSA/NCCT certifications preferred.
• 2+ years CST OR experience preferred (Ortho and general).
• Graduate of an approved discipline specific program.

Responsibilities

• Set up sterile field and maintain asepsis.
• Pass instruments during procedures and assist OR staff.
• Adhere to infection control standards and patient safety policies.
