Job summary

Vanderbilt Health is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist/OR Scrub Technician for our Operating Room. The role involves assisting the surgeon with sterile technique, instrumentation, and patient care under the supervision of the circulating nurse, with a focus on infection control and safety.

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Scrub Tech/First Assistant: assist surgeon on procedures with hemodynamics, suturing and retracting.
• Adheres to infection control standards and patient safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeon during procedures and prepare sterile instruments.
• Support OR staff as requested during operations.
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety according to protocols.
