Job summary

Qualifications

• NBSTSA CST or NCCT TS-C certification required or expected for graduation.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in surgical technology.
• Armed forces surgical technologist program graduates may qualify without certification.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates patient care by assisting the surgeon before, during, and after procedures.
• Sets up, performs, and cleans up the assigned procedure as circulator and scrub tech.
• Performs counts and maintains asepsis in the sterile field.
• Adheres to safety, policy, and quality standards; performs duties with minimal guidance.
