Job summary

Valley Baptist - Harlingen hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist to assist during procedures in the surgical department. Candidates must have graduated from a CAAHEP-accredited program and hold AHA BLS and Surgical Technology certifications. The role includes maintaining aseptic technique, passing instruments, and supporting daily OR operations.

Qualifications

Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited surgical technology program.
Experience: 1 year preferred.
Certification: AHA BLS and Surgical Technology certification required.

Responsibilities

Maintain aseptic technique and prepare equipment and sterile supplies for cases.
Scrub and pass instruments during procedures.
Assist with pulling and breaking down cases, and setup OR for daily schedule.
Be available for call on assigned basis as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
