Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center is seeking an OR Surgical Technologist to support the operating room team. You will assist in sterile processing, instrument handling, and patient care from neonate to geriatric patients.

The role requires CST certification and current BLS, with the ability to work with diverse patient populations. Shifts include 7a-3:30p, 3p-11:30p, and 11p-7:30a, on a biweekly 80-hour schedule.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of accredited School of Surgical Technology.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) per NBSTSA.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support certification or within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to interact with diverse backgrounds.

Required Qualifications:

• High school graduate or passage of a high school equivalency exam.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology.
• Possesses and maintains certification as a surgical technologist (CST) from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
• Current AHA Basic Life Support certification or obtains within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds
